I just loved what she wrote and decided to share. Know your place. Being an acquaintance means you’re a part of someone’s life but you may not be in their support circle.
Thank You!

I decided to put any other post on hold until I did this!

Mama Ibidunni,
Today would’ve been your birthday but you left us behind to celebrate with the hosts of heaven. I am a July-born too plus the fact that I’m an Events Purveyor and many more and that just breaks my heart when I think of You, the similarities we had and the way you paved the way for people like me with very huge dreams.
You may say I’m sentimental and maybe, I am but who wouldn’t be? when their Mentor that they’ve dreamt of meeting, died and left a Mighty dent in the world.
You know when you think you know of someone and then realize you don’t know the person or even know of that person? That was initially the case of Mrs. Ibidunni Olajumoke Ighodalo. I knew about @elizabeth_r_events and her husband, Pastor Olajide Ighodalo, about her foundation and about her sef, but I didn’t really know her facially.
After we heard about her death, my neighbour said you’re supposed to know her na, aren’t you in the events industry? Then, I went to IG to do my investigations and lo and behold, the Legend and Mama of events in Nigeria, my Idol (because she’s so impactful) is actually Mrs. Ibidunni Ighodalo.
How do I explain that I have not even met her or anyone that knows her but I can see her legacy?
What she is remembered for is just mind-blowing. The impact she made, the lives she touched and transformed plus the weight she carried is Indescribable.

The news was heart-shattering. My heart is still heavy and may always be when I remember her and the glow and glory she has brought to Nigeria’s events industry and the world at large.
Mere words aren’t enough to say how I feel right now. I can’t even imagine how people like her husband @PastorolajideIghodalo, her babygirl @tomike_a and others who knew her feel. May God comfort us All.
May her beloved and beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
May her impact continue to be felt.
May her legacy live forever and flourish.
Long live a legend!
Long live a mentor!
Long live a Mother of All!
Long live a lover!
Long live Mrs. Ibidunni Olajumoke Ighodalo.
You are forever in our hearts.

Growing up as a Preacher’s kid was not easy sha. No matter what you do, whether it’s a sin or not, if it feels wrong to your Fam then it’s a sin and you have to feel bad about it.
I hate that feeling cause it really never goes away. But, thank God for the understanding of the word of God, having godly mentors, real fellowship with gracefully broken believers, and having a relationship with Papa (God); everything would just be wrong or fall apart if not for that.
I’m glad I have a better understanding of God’s grace now.
Thank you for Reading.
Much Love🥰,
The Preacher’s Kid
Thanks for joining me!
